Your edge begins on the inside.
With daily check-ins and structured self-care, coaches help nurture their young athletes’ mental and physical well-being, building a direct path to healthy lifetime habits. Inside Game™ focuses on strengths, support and engagement, showing teens what their own potential and capabilities can achieve. Day by day, it’s a real game-changer!
Teens are struggling with depression, stress and anxiety like never before. It’s a problem in need of solutions that really relate to our kids — the right time for a new player to get into the game. Inside Game™ is a unique program that builds on the powerful role coaches and sports play in our teens’ lives.
A program built on the coach-athlete bond.
Inside Game™ was created for school sports programs serving student athletes ages 13-17. As leaders, mentors, and role models, coaches are in a unique position to influence positive behaviors — and Inside Game™ strengthens that key relationship with a convenient digital tool.
Two Key Components ❊
Coach support is critical.
All Inside Game™ coaches are trained to develop athletes’ physical and emotional well-being by reinforcing key self-care actions, including goal-setting, stress management and healthy routines. If there’s a drop-off, coaches will know and can provide personal encouragement.
01
The Inside Game™ app is an ally.
Through a secure app for phone or computer, athletes access age-appropriate resources and tools that promote emotional wellness and support healthy habits and relationships. The app acts as a personal assistant, reminding and guiding daily participation.
02
Centered on daily self-care.
When teens are in good mental and physical health, great things happen: Athletes perform better. Relationships improve. They make better choices at home and in school — and the benefits go on. The Inside Game™ app focuses on establishing, prompting and tracking eight key self-care practices, supported throughout the day by coaches, parents and teachers.
-
From scheduled practices to off -season training, physical activity keeps the body and brain fit, relieves stress and makes everyday activities easier.
-
Goal-setting is essential to personal growth — measurable objectives that provide direction, motivation and a sense of purpose in life.
-
Showing appreciation within the team, at school, at home and in the community is a mood-booster that reduces stress and anxiety.
-
Experiencing tasks, activities or encounters with a positive mindset enhances productivity, lowers distractions and helps achieve goals.
-
Athletes who connect with peers away from school and sports recover more easily from anxiety and depression, leading to better overall health.
-
Simple practices like breathing, mediation or cool-down sessions reduce stress, boost performance and transfer anxiety into energy for other tasks.
-
Proper rest is an essential part of staying in peak athletic shape, maximizing brain function, reducing stress, and staying alert and focused.
-
A focus on nutrition fuels teen athletes with more energy, sharper focus and quicker recovery, helping them perform better on and off the field.
